The Church of the Apostles Revelation Society, switched to an online service last Sunday, 22nd March 2020. This was to respect the Presidential directive of closing down Churches all across Ghana for four (4) weeks.
The Church’s leadership also issued an order admonishing every member of the Church to obey the President’s directive.
This however restricted every branch of the Church from holding a normal Sunday service. The Church did not only respect the President’s directive but also firmly adhered to one of the 15 ethical principles laid down by the Founder of the Church, Prophet CKN Wovenu as a guiding light to direct the Church to obey orders from the Government.
The host Pastor of the online church service, Bishop Veliane Wovenu – Goka, the resident pastor of ARS Musuku Branch spoke to the online congregation via ARS Digital Media Facebook platform. She admonished members that, it is important to turn back to God as a precaution for a good and everlasting life.
She illustrated a scenario; according to her, if two people fall in love for a couple of days, the communication between them is very beautiful because they keep that at a constant level. They then get much closer to each other as long as they keep doing that. The relationship gets rocky when all the communication stops.
She also advised members to put their torch up (faith in God) high so it can brighten up for all to see. She concluded by letting members know the relevance of prayers and it’s benefits to every Christian.
