Indeed it is a great honour to celebrate a giant and gallant leader of the church and the nation.

The program which was held at the Madina church branch of the Apostles Revelation society was a remarkable one and clouded with reflection of the life of Professor J.B.K AHETO and will surely go in the memory lane.
The program was organized by the Apostles Revelation Society Students Union Alumni of the University of Ghana (ARSSU -UG Alumni) and was purported to honour  this Hero in his days of life not  death.

The program saw many astute dignitaries from various universities, institutions, committees and associations. Amongst them were professors of the University of Ghana, Pentecost University College, Knutsford,Ghana Christian University, representatives were sent from the  institute of Directors-Ghana,2009 ICAG Network, National council,USA, Chartered Institute of Administrators & Management  Consultants-Ghana and others

The Madina Church Choir, the host choir sang the famous and powerful tune ” *This is the day the Lord has made*”  to open the ceremony and Mr Godson Korbla Aloryito who was applauded by speakers to be a very good Master of ceremony hosted the program. A Biography of Prof was read by Mr Charles Fiador and the audience was astonished by his amazing works across the border of the world and also the many honours that has been conferred on him.

Remarking Speeches were read by the various professors, his family, friends , the clergy who have worked with the celebrants and also distinguished men in the country from institutions and Associations. Elements such as humility, respect for one another, love, dedication to work, commitment,passion to every course he is involved in, selflessness,hardwork amongst others run throughout all Speeches and indeed they were not fabrications but indelible attributes of Professor J.B.K AHETO.

Musical interludes were given  by presenting choirs including the host  choir Madina church choir, the Award winning Ashaiman youth choir, the Abeka youth Choir and the Madina youth choir.
Citations and Gifts were presented to show appreciation to Professor Aheto for his service and works by the Apostles Revelation society students union of Legon, the Chartered Institute of Administrators & Management Consultants-Ghana

It was a special moment when the celebrant was called to give a brief remark, Prof. Aheto, said it was joyful to be celebrated and the fact that it was his life that was being celebrated. He was filled with joy throughout his speech. Long live, Professor J.B.K. Aheto , Long Live ARSSU-UG, Long live ARS.
