The ARS Edem branch holds a fundraising ceremony to aid its chapel project which was grounded on the theme ‘Honour the Lord with thy substance and with the first fruits of all thine increase’ (Proverbs 3:9).
The project committee Chairman Rev. G.D. Gakpetor in his speech revealed how the chapel would be put up. His description of the plan clearly shows that the building would be one of the ultra-modern Chapel in West Africa.
The ceremony was graced by various Choirs who took their turns to mesmerise the congregation with their startling performances. In euphoria, the congregation danced to honour the occasion. The performing Choirs were Ho Edem Choir, Ho Central Choir, Sokode Etoe, Corinthians Choir, and Soldiers of Christ.
The chairman of the occasion, Torgbui Gbeworza thanked everyone for being part of the ceremony in building the Lord’s vineyard. He pledged his all-time support and eulogised the congregation to make giving part of their lives because there is so much bless in giving than receiving.
Speaking about unity, He made it clear that Enough is Enough which he attributed to the fact that the vision and mission of the Church is slowly dying in terms of the unity we need to stand as one people, and one family to propagate the Gospel.
Mama Kekelifia Afenyetornye I and her entourage, Torgbui Gbeworza II, Prof. John Gatsi, Lawyer Gordon Akpadie, Ho central hopeful, Mr Samuel Dzidulali Danku Ho west aspiring MP, and many other dignitaries were there to grace the occasion.
