ARSSU National Women’s Commission Holds 3rd Edition of ‘ARSSU Ladies Summit’

The 3rd edition of the ARSSU Ladies Summit organized by the National Women’s Commission and held at the ARS Madina Central was another rewarding event.

The event was geared towards women empowerment where participants were taken through a training that was arrayed to embolden them on the need to be financially stable and to also carve a niche for themselves in the field of entrepreneurship.

Mrs. Kafui Ansah, one of the facilitators expounded on the topic ‘Financial Management’ and briefed the participants on the importance of managing one’s finance for financial stability.

She further engaged the participants by seeking their opinions on the topic on board.

At the skill session, participants were also taken through a practical training facilitated by Ms. Bless Goka, Ms. Nutifafa Kattah and Mrs. Rose Ahiable on Beads Making, Tissue Box, Flower Pot etc. to enhance their entrepreneurship skills.

Beautiful colourful necklaces, pendants, key holders etc were produced and displayed for exhibition. The works of the participants today is a clear indication that ARS is blessed with business acumen.

Speaking to the participants, some revealed to ARS Digital Media how excited they were to be part of this event and promised to make use of what they have learnt for their personal development.

In an interview with the Women Commissioner, Ms. Gloria Anagbonu expressed her appreciation to all those who helped in making this event a success and also commended the former Women Commissioner, Pearl Halm for her enormous support, the executives for their substantial contribution and the ARS Digital Media.

The Thy Kingdom Come Choir honour the event with an amazing and a splendid performance.
