ARS Juapong Region Holds Regional Choir Rally to Solicit for Support

The Church of Apostles Revelation Society in the Juapong Region on Sunday held another regional Choir rally to solicit for support to complete an ultra modern Chapel which was started 15 years ago.

The rally is to call for financial support to be used for developmental projects at the host branch. This happens twice in a year and it is hosted by different branches in the region.

This year’s event was hosted by the Apegusu ARS branch which had participating choirs from Juapong Central ARS Choir, Juapong Ahorlukope ARS Choir, Apegusu ARS Choir, Frankadua ARS Choir, Kluma ARS Choir, Finte ARS Choir, Azagonorkope ARS Choir, Tsikoe ARS Choir, Gborkofe ARS Choir and Tagadzi ARS Choir.

Togbe Dumedefor I, a Senior Presbyter and a Choir Master at the host branch( Apegusu) in his speech explained that, the proceeds from the event will be used to continue, if possible complete their 200 capacity ultra modern chapel that was started in the year 2003 and now at the roofing level. He further said, the delay of the project was due to financial constraints which he blamed it on the population of the branch which has reduced drastically to Thirty (30) members and excluding Children.

‘The area is also a minor farming community which makes our sources of fund less’. He added

In conclusion, he appealed to all ARS members and the general public for support to be able to accomplish the project.

All Choirs in attendance were given the opportunity to sing to enthuse the audience. The congregation was held spellbound at their amazing performances.
